2025 has been a standout year for Xolo. As a technology-producing startup, our goal has always been to achieve rapid growth while operating sustainably and profitably. This year, we delivered on that ambition.

The defining theme of the year has been the deepening integration of technology, AI, and accounting, reshaping not only our internal processes but also the everyday experience of our customers.

AI takes care of repetitive tasks, speed, and accuracy; meanwhile, our accountants and support teams are there to guide customers through the important questions, provide clarity, and offer genuine human advice. Our goal is simple: to be a freelance entrepreneur’s trusted business partner, not just another accounting platform.

Today, more than 150,000 customers from over 150 countries use Xolo, together generating nearly €6 billion in total turnover — a testament to the growing global community of independent professionals who rely on us to run their businesses with confidence.

Investing in the Future: More Markets, Smarter Tech, Stronger Support

Looking ahead, we are doubling down on two pillars:

We’ll continue building AI-powered solutions that streamline routine tasks and free up time for what really matters — both for freelancers and for our internal teams.

2. Exceptional human support where it creates the most value

Technology alone cannot replace the reassurance, context, and nuance that a real accountant or support specialist provides. This hybrid model will remain core to our strategy.

We are also investing heavily in geographical expansion.
Xolo already supports Estonian companies (including e-residents) and sole traders in Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands — and we’re preparing to launch in several new markets across Europe.

Our largest recent investments have gone into building these new country operations: from product localisation to hiring compliance experts to creating the infrastructure needed for long-term success.
