on January 09, 2026 • **2 minute read**
From turning dream trips into instant itineraries to showcasing Estonia’s growing influence in global AI innovation, NÜVIA is redefining what modern travel can look like. Their breakthrough approach earned them the title of **AI Pioneer of the Year 2025**, recognizing their bold vision and rapidly evolving technology.
We spoke with the NÜVIA team to learn more about their mission, their diverse team, and what’s ahead as they gear up for the launch of their AI-driven travel super-app.
## **For those who may not know NÜVIA yet, can you give a brief overview of your company and what inspired its creation?**
**NÜVIA Team:** NÜVIA is an AI-powered travel super-app that turns your dream trip into a complete itinerary in minutes.
We were inspired by the frustration so many travelers face: spending days researching, comparing, and planning — only to end up overwhelmed.
Built in Estonia, NÜVIA is proud to bring local tech innovation to the global stage while making travel effortless, fun, and inspiring.
## **Can you tell us more about the NÜVIA team and what makes you work well together?**
**NÜVIA Team:** Our team is a diverse group from Israel, Spain, and Nigeria, blending AI expertise, design talent, and real-world travel knowledge.
We’re united by curiosity, bold ideas, and a shared mission to transform how people explore the world.
This mix of perspectives allows us to build an app that understands travelers deeply — and makes their journeys smoother from the very first moment.
## **What impact has NÜVIA made so far?**
**NÜVIA Team:** Instead of spending days planning trips, our users get personalized itineraries instantly.
Early testers have already experienced how AI can transform travel planning — making it faster, stress-free, and genuinely exciting.
## **What does being named AI Pioneer of the Year mean to you?**
**NÜVIA Team:** It’s an incredible honor and a major milestone for our team.
This recognition validates our mission and highlights Estonia’s growing leadership in global AI innovation.
It also energizes us as we prepare for the next big chapter: our MVP launch in Q1 2026.
## **What’s next for NÜVIA? What are you most excited about?**
**NÜVIA Team:**
2026 will be a defining year for us. Our goals include:
- Launching our MVP to the public
- Building new partnerships across the travel ecosystem
- Expanding our AI-driven features to make travel even smarter and more personalized
